The Ghanaian author Amma Darko donates 500 Euro for school project

| Amma Darko is a friend of
Prof. Veyhl and his wife. The two Germans had founded an NGO and are
working together with their Partner-NGO "Yamoransa Community
Association". Mrs. Darko is very interested in NGO work, which had also been a topic in her novel "Faceless". She has decided to support the Ghanaian NGO. When she received the royalties for an article about Ghana in "Süddeutsche Zeitung" (A German newspaper), she decided to donate the 500 Euro to "Yamoransa Community Association", our partner NGO in Ghana. With the 500 Euro from Amma Darko, the NGO was able to buy furnishings and equipment. |

| The German NGO "Gold
Coast" and the Ghanaian NGO "Yamoransa Community Association" are close
partners. Their project is the erection of a vocational school centre in
Akatakyiwa/ Yamoransa. The first buildings are structurally complete. In
September 2008, classes will begin´. With the 500 Euro from Amma Darko, the NGO will be able to buy furnishings and equipment. |
