In March 2007, people came together for the sod cutting ceremony. In Akatakyiwa, close to the Accra Road, a vocational school is being built. Two workshops are already standing there. The first departments will be car repairing and dressmaking. The school will be opened in September 2008.

The initiative comes from a German NGO called "Gold Coast". They had planned charity programs and collected money for the project. The partner NGO , "Yamoransa Community Association", is responsible for the erection of the buildings and for everything connected with the organisation of the school.

Toilets

An old toilet building in Akatakyiwa hat to be renovated and the soakaway had to be emptied. In February 2007, Prof. Dr. Rainer Veyhl handed over money from various German donators for the emptying action. Nana Kwadua's wife sponsered the paint for renovation. The toilet building is renewed by now.
